Here you will find the best cable cars in Tyrol
The mountain railroads in Tyrol offer a breathtaking opportunity to experience the majestic Alpine world. In the heart of the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena, the Marienbergbahn, the Grubigsteinbahn and the Ehrwalder Almbahn, among others, invite you to climb the heights in comfort. Of course, you can reach the highest peak in the region with the Zugspitzbahn from Ehrwald.
Most cable cars operate every season and take you almost to the summit both with and without snow. You can find the current opening times of the cable cars in Tirol on the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena website.
In addition to exciting hiking destinations for families, connoisseurs and alpine pros, you can take your mountain bike with you on almost all cable cars. This means you can easily reach the starting points of many trails of all difficulty levels and still have enough energy for a second round.
