“Jumanji” is an exciting, action-packed film full of humor and adventure that takes viewers into an exotic and dangerous world. Four teenagers discover an old video game during detention, but instead of having some harmless fun in front of the TV, the quartet is drawn into the jungle world of Jumanji! In this inhospitable environment, the students have to deal with rhinos, black mambas and an endless variety of jungle traps and puzzles – but in the bodies of the game’s characters. The humble Spencer (Alex Wolff) becomes the muscle-bound adventurer Dr. Smolder Bravestone (Dwayne Johnson), the football player Anthony “Fridge” Johnson (Ser’Darius Blain) becomes the zoologist and weapons specialist Moose Finbar (Kevin Hart), the It girl Bethany (Madison Iseman) becomes the corpulent cartographer/cryptographer Shelly Oberon (Jack Black) and the unathletic outsider Martha (Morgan Turner) becomes the powerful fighter Ruby Roundhouse (Karen Gillan).

In order to win the game and return to the real world, they have to survive all kinds of dangerous adventures in their new bodies. In the process, they not only discover the strengths and weaknesses of their avatars, but also learn important lessons about teamwork, courage and self-confidence. Each challenge brings them closer together as they try to unlock the secrets of Jumanji and complete the game.
